Frequently Asked Questions
The Answers You Need
Q: What do I need to bring?
The only thing that we need from you is a vaccination certificate, however, you’re welcome to bring toys, blankets or other items to allow your pet(s) to feel more at home. We recommend providing your own food to avoid upset tummy’s and help maintain a normal routine but do have a small variety of feeds available if you do not provide any.
Q: How often will my dog(s) be walked?
We walk all of the dogs that we look after at least twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, although we do walk the dogs more frequently if we’re able and if weather permits.
Q: Do you provide food for my pets stay?
We can provide both wet and dry food at no additional cost, and we can feed to your request. However, if your pet has any special dietary requirements, we do ask that you bring your own food.
Q: Are you happy to RAW feed my dog(s)?
Absolutely! We have a fridge-freezer in our kennel kitchen. We’re very experienced and happy to do this. We also have additional freezer storage for frozen food, so it won’t be an issue if your dog is staying with us for a prolonged period of time.
Q: Can we come to see the kennel/cattery before our pet(s) stay?
Yes. You’re more than welcome to come and have a look around, ask questions, and talk to us about daily routines, in fact, we would encourage you to do so. We often hold viewings outside of opening hours. We do prefer that you let us know if you’d like to pop in for a visit, but if you’re just passing by, we may be able to give you a quick tour.
Q: Our pet is taking medication, can you continue their course during their stay?
Absolutely! We are happy to continue administering any medication or supplements that your pet needs.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, bank transfers and cheques (with a valid bank card).
Q: I miss my fur babies while away, can you send pictures?
Of course we can. If you leave an email address with us on your booking form, we will do our best to send some pictures during their stay, we also post regularly on Facebook so you can check in on our page and see any updates.
Q: Can you bath my dog during their visit/stay?
Absolutely! As well as boarding services, we do offer baths, nail trimming, ear cleaning and anal gland expression at an additional cost.
